Outings with Onya

APO’s president, Onya Gardner, is planning outings quarterly with our Senior Sisters, 65 years old and above. The first outing was to the Amuzu Theater in Southport, NC for their annual Christmas at the Amuzu, where Onya performed. Thank you to our APO on the Go for transporting our senior sisters to and from the event.

APO congratulates Carolyn Gause Randolph, International Secretary for AKA Sorority, Inc.® on receiving one of the Lifetime Achievement Awards at the White Lotus Leadership Awards Dinner Gala and an Evening with Oleta Adams. The event, sponsored by NC Project LEAD, Inc., honors community, regional and national leaders.

Supporting CHIPP with Mu Iota Omega Chapter

APO is collaborating with Mu Iota Omega Chapter in Horry County, SC to support our International Program Initiative, CHILDHOOD HUNGER INITIATIVE POWER PACKS. Both chapters will pack 50 CHIPP packs to share with 100 students at the Academy of Hope Public Charter School in Conway, SC.

APO Plants Trees to Enhance the Environment

Alpha Psi Omega partnered with US Lawns and Towncreek Vision Corporation to commemorate Arbor Day. Volunteers came together to plant two live oak trees named Pearl and Ivy.
